No. Plan a meal and it is added to the grocery list for the shopping trip that buys for that day. If no list covers the day yet, one is started on your household’s shopping day.

You do not need a written recipe to get started. Choose one of these three ways:

• Add my own recipe — start from scratch and save it in your own words.
• Bring in a recipe — use a website, photo, or pasted text to make an editable draft, then review it before saving.
• Help me decide what to make — when recipe assistance is available, get optional Recipe ideas to review and save as normal editable recipes.

The days after its own shopping day, up to and including the next one. If you shop on Wednesdays, the list you take on the 9th buys for Thursday the 10th through Wednesday the 16th. Wednesday’s dinner is bought the week before, so it is in the house before you leave for the store. Every planned day lands on exactly one list.

Yes. Set your day in Settings → Household → Shopping day and your lists follow it, so a midweek trip can cover the end of one weekly plan and the start of the next. The list gathers the meals planned on those days even when they sit in two different plans, and it keeps itself current: change a meal on a day the list covers and the list changes too. Saving a new usual day also moves the lists you have not shopped yet, with everything on them.

Yes — one list, for everyone. Meals from plans everyone can see are added to it for you. A plan you keep private is the exception: only you can see it, so its meals stay off the list everyone shops from, and the plan says so after you save it. Add anything you need for a private plan yourself.

Yes. Change day sits beside the shopping day on your list and opens an ordinary Sunday-to-Saturday calendar. If the day you pick is not your usual one, you are asked whether it is just this week or every week. Everything on the list moves with it — what you added, what you checked off, and what you marked Have it.

Choose Finish shopping trip at the end of the list. Before anything changes it tells you what will happen: how many checked-off items are cleared, and which unchecked items move to your next list and for which day. You land on that next list. A trip finished by mistake can be reopened from beside its day.

Yes. Your normal grocery-list page is designed as a direct checklist, including manual household additions.

Household Admins and the Household Owner can invite people with an appropriate role. Access is private and invitation based.

No. Recipe assistance is optional. Availability and any household allowance are shown before an assisted action begins, and ideas you save become normal editable recipes. You can always Add my own recipe or use another available Bring in a recipe method.

No. My Meal Planning is currently available only to invited households. Payment collection and public signup remain unavailable until the final offer is approved.

Your account’s Plan & usage page explains the current access state and the available recovery path. It never offers a payment action that the service cannot complete.

Yes. The normal grocery-list page is designed for direct checkoff on a phone. It needs an internet connection; offline shopping support is not currently offered.

No. My Meal Planning is a private household service, not a public recipe network. You can find data controls in your account settings.
